The technique is straightforward, start by applying a standard window cleaner to the glass surface, then use a sheet of newspaper to wipe away the solution in circular motions. 

The Vinegar Institute further raves about the efficacy of newspapers for window cleaning, citing their lint-free composition, which prevents streaks, and superior absorbency, ideal for wiping away residue.
