The vinegar will help to brighten and deodorise your clothing, without leaving behind a vinegar smell.

The item can be used to extend the life of your flowers as well. Add 2 tablespoons of vinegar to the vase, and they’ll last even longer than usual.

The vinegar helps kill bacteria that will speed up your flowers’ wilting.

Dishwasher

Your dishwasher cleans your dishes, but how do you clean the dishwasher itself? Vinegar can help with that.

Caroline said to pour 60 mL of vinegar in a measuring cup and place the entire thing in the top rack of your dishwasher. Run a hot cycle, and it will clean your appliance.

Winter boots

Removing salt stains from your winter boots can be tricky, but vinegar will take it off easily.

Add equal parts vinegar and water to a spray bottle, and spray it on your boots. Blot it with a rag and let it dry. It works on suede and leather.

Windows and mirrors

“It’s the best window and glass cleaner,” Caroline said.

Combine equal parts vinegar and water in a spray bottle, and use on your windows, mirrors or any glass. Just spray and wipe away with a rag.

Wood furniture

If you have some wood furniture that’s looking dull, this vinegar solution can keep it looking fresh.

Mix one part vinegar with three parts olive oil, then dip a cloth in the mixture and apply it to the wood. Rub it in circular motions, and the wood will look good as new.
