Sudocrem has been a household name for years and it’s always been known as a nappy cream – but now experts want you to know five other ways to use the cream on adults. Other than treating nappy rash, Sudocrem is a versatile hero that can be used on the whole family and they have recently launched a handbag-friendly My Little Sudocrem for people to use on-the-go.

Boots and online supermarket Ocado are selling the 22g pocket-size Sudocrem for £3 but if you are looking to get one for the house, then it’s best to go for the tub size – a 125g tub is retailed at £3.75 and a bigger 400g is available to buy for £7.50.

The healing cream can provide soothing relief. Caring for everything from acne, eczema and even sunburn.

Acne

Acne flare-ups are frustrating for teenagers and adults alike, but the zinc oxide in Sudocrem acts as a soothing anti-inflammatory agent to help alleviate redness and swelling, which is great for treating any blemishes. Its gentle formulation also contains Benzyl alcohol, a mild local anaesthetic, to help alleviate discomfort.

Eczema

Eczema flare-ups can be uncomfortable to live with, it can be painful, itchy and causes frustration and anxiety. Sudocrem contains hypoallergenic lanolin, which helps provide emollient properties to soothe sore inflamed skin whilst leaving the skin feeling soft.

It can also calm irritations and manage eczema flare-ups.

Cuts and Grazes
