‘Cheapest place in Europe’ to live revealed – Britons urged to move for ‘lower costs’

The place is, of course, Italy. Food shopping and housing costs such as decorating supplies were significantly cheaper too.

YourOverseasHome said: “Despite there being a few cities and towns that have reputations for being expensive destinations, Italy is by far the cheapest place to live long term when you’re not spending like a traveller.

“This is despite the fact that energy costs more in Italy!

“Of course, we acknowledge the fact that the true cost of living will vary significantly from region to region, but to live in a run-of-the-mill town or village outside the usual tourist hotspots, Italy is apparently the most reasonable.”

If you’re still unsure then there have even been some parts of Italy where they pay younger people to go live there.

Yes, it is only some parts of the country but where else are you going to find beautiful views and amazing food?

The only slight problem is Brexit. British citizens will now need a visa if they want to go and live and work elsewhere in Europe.

Those without a visa can stay for up to 90 days in 180 days and if you’re working out there you’ll probably need a work visa too.

Yes, it is paperwork we know but as we said beautiful views and amazing food. Let’s not forget to mention the better weather too.

Would you consider moving to another country?
