Woman says her husband of 20 years is ‘cheating on her with son’s girlfriend’

A stay-at-home mum has shared her despair after learning that her husband of 20 years has been cheating on her with her 18-year-old son’s girlfriend.

An unnamed woman took to Reddit to share what she found on her husband’s phone that uncovered his infidelity.

She talked about their two kids, a 15 year old girl and an 18 year old boy, and how her son’s girlfriend, Amy, had become like family to them.

She said her son, Eric, “absolutely adores Amy,” adding: “She’s his first love, and someone I have always considered as family.”

But she said she saw some messages on her husband’s phone by accident, which changed everything.

She’s now devastated and scared about the impact this will have on her son, saying: “Terrified of what kind of psychological blow this will be for our son.”

She received overwhelming support from users on Reddit.

One wrote: “There are so many things that are just not even remotely close to okay going on in this. I would be concerned about your daughter’s friends (and your daughter) around this man as well.”

“Your parents are supposed to be the people who will never betray you,” said one commenter. “That boy will never look at his dad the same again,” a third said.
